Requirements
- Good oral expression, mastery of sales techniques, ability to advise, knowledge related to the use of a cash register.
- Sought after qualities: passion for animals, listening skills, team spirit, helpfulness, good stress management, friendly and diplomatic.
- Professional studies diploma in sales advice (offered in-house during working hours) or a secondary school diploma.
- Having experience with animals or retail sales is an asset.
Your role
The customer service representative works in the store where he sells products directly to customers, offering well-advised advice for their animals. He also acts as a cashier using the cash registers to record and receive payments from customers. He makes refunds and exchanges as needed.
Tasks
With your sense of organization and ability to concentrate, you never lose your beautiful smile, even during busy times? If you are naturally gifted in human relations, we need you to offer customers a service tailored to their animals.
- Welcome customers and advise them throughout their visits by presenting the features and how to use our products.
- Be responsible for the visual presentation by replenishing displays, performing routine maintenance of the store, and ensuring a great customer experience.
- Perform supply-related activities, receive merchandise and participate in inventory.
- Use a cash register and optical reader to create the invoice indicating the total payment required and process cash, credit and debit payments.
- Close the cash register, produce the cash report and make deposits.
