Saint-Donat, Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 – Les Boutiques d’animaux Chico is pleased to announce the opening of a new Chico location in Saint-Donat, in the Lanaudière region. Alexis Parent is embarking on the adventure of a Chico franchise after holding several positions at his father’s store, Kiam Parent, with whom he is co-franchised for this new project. With extensive experience in customer service and a very good understanding of the business, Alexis will be working in familiar territory.

Young, but very experienced
Animals and pet stores hold no secrets for Alexis Parent, who started working in his parents’ stores at the age of eight. From a summer job to a manager, he knows inside out all the roles that can be taken in a store. Becoming a franchisee is an important step in his career, but he is more than prepared to take this leap. Today, he dreams of seeing his children follow in his footsteps and, who knows, seeing a third generation in the pet industry

The Parent family now has 13 successful Boutique d’animaux Chico. Each of them offers the same customer service, in other words high-quality service focused on the customer and the animal. Beyond sales, the Parents are known as very present franchisees with people and ensure that customers are satisfied and receive the service they desire. Knowing this approach well, Alexis wants to add his own personal touch to it.
